In a recent behavioral test performed by the American Temperament Test Society, Pit Bulls placed second overall with an 83.4% pass rate, beat out only by the Labrador Retriever, and outperforming breeds like the Border Collie and Miniature Schnauzer. Bet you didn't expect that one? Pit bulls are truly soft in nature, definitely one of the most loving breeds around.

2) THEY MAKE PAWESOME THERAPY DOGS

More often than not Pit Bulls are thought of as aggressive or even dangerous, because of this you may not expect to find pit bulls serving as therapy animals. However, these highly intelligent canines are perhaps the most loving and affectionate dogs around. Their sense of humor and constant puppy-like attitude make them the perfect candidates to provide emotional support for humans in hospitals, care homes, and even schools!

3) THEY HAVE HUMAN-LIKE EMOTIONS

Contrary to popular belief Pit Bulls actually have the largest range of emotions of any dog in the world. What may appear as stubbornness to some, is actually hurt feelings of an overly sensitive canine.
